President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of  Staff,  Abba Kyari is dead . In a statement on Saturday morning to  AKWAPOLY UPDATE,  the Presidency announced the passage of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari. The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19 and had been receiving treatment.  Abba Kyari died  on Friday, April 17, 2020. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. His life Abba Kyari was a businessman, Lawyer and Politicians. Born in Borno state to a Kanuri family, Kyari graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Warwick in 1980. He also has a bachelor’s degree in law from Cambridge University and was called to bar in 1983. He also posses a master’s degree in Law and participated in a Management development course in Harvard Business School in 1992 and 1994. Kyari and President Buhari are very close friends. AKWA IBOM STATE COVID-19 UPDATE : 6.0  COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN AKWA IB0M STATE: A 7- HOUR RESPITE TO RE-STOCK. Gentlemen of the Press, following the enforcement of the QUARANTINE AND RESTRICTIONS OF MOVEMENT REGULATIONS 2020  with some economic discomforts to citizens and residents of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, compassionate and sensitive to these discomforts, has directed as follows: 1.
